I have been eating in this Restaurant since the day it was open almost 10 years ago.
This place with no doubt is my favorite restaurant in Parma.
Daniela is simply a great chef who always combine traditional local food with sophisticated touches and fantasy. I will always recommend this place to anyone passing by Parma or Reggio Emilia.
You need to try the pumpkins tortelli or the Stracchino della duchessa which are, in my opinion, the best in town!

Our host, a dear friend of my mother and her husband wanted us to enjoy and experience the traditional dinning styles of the locals in Reggio Emilia and Parma.
We started with a large selection of cold meat platters and cheese platters which are eaten with gnocco fritto, a fried dough. served warm and fresh in a basket.
Eaten like mini sandwiches. Gnocco fritti, cold meats and cheeses were spread across the entire table for everyone to pick and choose their desired selection.
A serving of Nutella was also ordered for myself, in most cases this would be ordered as a dessert. But i love my Nutella!
Second course we ordered large share style bowls of pasta, Picante Orecchiette - short pasta with pepperoni (roasted capsicum) cherry tomatoes, garlic, chilli and oil. Ravioli type pasta with spinach and ricotta filling.
By the end of the meal we were stuffed full!
My partner and I (also my mum and brother) enjoyed ourselves so much, & will definitely be visiting again on our return to Italy. Sanjra11
